Festus Jackson-Davis

A graduate of Intel Media Institute with a Degree in Film and Television Production, Camera and Film Editing option. In addition to comprehensive experience in Basics Media Skills and Basic Counseling Skills in Media from Media Youth Project.

As an employee of Multimedia Group Limited (Joy News TV) as a Multimedia Camera Operator (In Studio and On Location) Video Editor. His responsibilities included operating television and motion pictures cameras to record scenes for television broadcasts, News Generation, Taking Home, PM Express and Joy News Prime, News File and video editing.

In November 2010 – October 2012 Mr. Jackson-Davis worked with Television Africa Limited (TVA) where he worked in the Master Control Room (MCR). His duties included designing captions for the various programs and also assisting in the operation of transmission equipment and maintenance, recording of programs from satellite and preparing them for transmission.

May, 2013 Mr. Jackson-Davis shot Documentaries in the Three Northern Regions in Ghana for UNICEF which he handled the production on his own (Camera, Lighting and Sound). He was also was in Brazil to cover FIFA World Cup June 2014.
